As Power Electronics Engineer, you will have a degree in Electronics Engineering (ideally 2:1 or higher) with disciplines in Power, and bring a wealth of experience of design/test of Power Electronic Converters (AC-AC, DC-DC, DC-AC). You will have demonstrable experience of simulation tools such as Matlab and Simulink, with knowledge of Analogue and Systems Engineering, Digital Electronics, Semiconductor Switching devices, and knowledge of Embedded Systems and Control Engineering.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Development, analysis, and validation of design solutions to meet project requirements
* Generation of function, component, manufacturing, test and validation specifications
* Ensure design solutions are robust, reliable and meet budgeted cost on time
* Cross-functional support during product introduction
* Assist with installation and commissioning of equipment
* Preparation of materials for design reviews
* Assist Principal Engineer with planning, test and operation of qualification tests
